James Kain, CTO

James Kain, Chief Technology Officer

Mr. James Kain has more than 45 years of experience with distributed industry team development, targeting customer-driven products that demand extreme signal processing components. Applications focus has been merging information from multiple state-of-the-art sensors mounted to ground-and-air mobile platforms. Signal processing using direct-digital modern estimation methods has been the central software theme throughout his career. Capabilities from soup-to-nuts in all aspect of extreme-tech product development: embedded/web/desktop software, networking, web enablement, electronics design/fabrication, system integration, software process, hands-on management of all aspects of the development cycle, fund-raising, and team building. Mr. Kain is a graduate of the University of Alabama with concentrations in aeronautical engineering and MIT with a master's degree in aeronautics and astronautics.

 

James Summerville, President/CEO

Mr. James Summerville's background is rooted deeply in commercial and military aviation. He served as Director of International Operations and Training for a major imaging firm, where he managed and directed aerial imagery collection activities throughout the world, inclusive of Australia, Africa, Europe, Japan, and the United States. His military aviation experience includes Navigator/Combat Systems Officer on the C-130H Hercules in the United States Air Force. James served three combat tours in Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and accumulated more than 500 combat sorties, two Air Medals, and multiple other awards. He is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with concentrations in aerospace and mathematics. Mr. Summerville holds both FAA Commercial/Multi-Engine and Instrument Instructor Certificates.
